The following changes will take effect in the Netherlands on 01-01-2025:

Minimum number:
The following breeds must be pre-registered for participation:
American Bulldog – English Bulldog & New English Bulldog
These breeds will only have a class if there are at least 5 entries of a breed.

*example:
With the registration of 5 adult American Bulldogs, we have a class.
With the registration of 5 American Bulldog puppies, we have a class.
(If 5 puppies are registered & 2 adults, then the puppies have their class and the adults will not be able to participate in the show.)

Pedigree:
If the dog is 6 months or older, it MUST have a pedigree to participate in the show.
If the dog only has its Application, you must apply for a DBKC pedigree (this can be done at the show).

Docked:
Dogs younger than 12 months may NOT participate in shows docked unless you have a valid medical certificate!
You must, of course, show this when registering along with the dog!
If DBKC discovers afterwards that the papers shown are falsified or that you participate with a docked dog younger than 12 months without a medical certificate, any points obtained will be lost, and you will receive an official warning!!

Booth:
A booth place will now be bookable via the website.
In case of cancellation of a booth place, DBKC will not refund money or provide any form of compensation.

Show:
From 01-01-2025, only double shows will be organized by DBKC in the Netherlands. This means 2 shows in 1 day. The participating dog will be judged by 2 different judges on this day.
