IMPRESSION
Athletic, temprament-full but stable big dog.
CHARACTER
He is self-assured & observant, social. (restraint towards stranger is accepted with fast restore)
DISTINCTION
Scott - Standard (ranker) & Johnson - Bully (coarse, muscular powerful appearance)
Color:
completely white, or any color pattern red, brown, brindle allowed, at least 10% white
Coat:
shorter than 2.5 cm, soft to sticky
Head:
Standard, box-shaped, less pronounced stopper and wrinkles, flat head Bully, almost square head, clear stop, short checkered nose
Eyes:
Almond shaped, as far as the nose width apart.
Muzzle:
standard, 30 to 40% head length / Bully 25 to 35% head length Less desired errors, small errors: - blue eye, lack of pigment around the eyes or pigmentless iris - miss up to 10% on the nose - docked ears - center feet turned in or out - tail set too low - non-descended testicles - shy - anxious
Less desirable mistakes, small mistakes:
- Merle, blue, black or these shapes into brindle
- black eye, lack of pigment around the eyes or depigmented iris
- up to 10% missing on the nose
- cropped ears - pasterns turned in or out
- tail set too low
- undescended testicles
- shy
- anxious
Major mistakes:
- terrier head (at standard) overly narrow head
- overshot (too long upper jaw) clearly visible difference in jaws
- bulging eyes (frog eyes)
- drooping eyelids
- excessively narrow snout
- pink or multicolored nose (dudly nose)
- missing more than 10% pigment on the nose
- scissor bite or pincer bite
- floppy ears
- elbows out
- weak on wrists
- the angle of the hock joint too large (too deep angulation)
- the angulation too sharp (too steep hindquarters)
- Cow-hocked, x or o-boned.
- carp back – sagging back
- kinked tail
- spread toes
- tail in complete circle
- limp or wobbly gait
- visible lack of mass/muscle
- an improperly packed, low-lying sternum
- underdeveloped tail, broken, bent sideways or twisted (kinked tail) tail
Disc Qualifications:
- exhibit less acceptable stable character traits (not recovering quickly enough, e.g. when shy)
- hair longer than 2.5 cm or fluffy
- Double blue eyes or eyes lacking pigment in both irises
- entropion = eyelid curled inward, over cornea ectropion = eyelid outwards (too large, too heavy), through which conjunctiva is visible
- cross-eyed
- canines and/or incisors visible when the mouth is closed.
- twisted/crooked beak or wry jaw
- due to sagging wrists (recognizable by a bulge on the front shin).
